Cedar County Attic/William Beaver Post No. 110 is a new historical resource in the Tipton area. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving Cedar County treasures for our youth. While resources of the past are dwindling, our goal is to try to collect and preserve existing memories and items. Cedar County Attic believes in preserving the past and teaching or showing it to our children.
Cedar County Attic is not a museum in the normal sense. We believe that the memories/treasures belong to the original owners and their decadents. It is for this reason that we only want to borrow these treasures/memories and not own them. Many Cedar County residents have already entrusted us with some of their family treasures.

We have recognized the need for access to resources and a meeting room in the downtown Tipton area. Cedar County Attic is located directly across from the Courthouse and provides easy access to the following:
- Located on the first floor, you can find a Country School and a turn-of-the-century Kitchen.
- Victorian meeting room for groups of 5-25 people including a small kitchenette.
- A room dedicated to display Civil War/Grand Army of the Republic military memorabilia.
- A large display area where items owned by Cedar County residents may be displayed and enjoyed by others.
- A large research library with many sources available especially for persons interested in Cedar County History.
- The entire upstairs is climate controlled for your comfort.
All the areas have easy access which can be reached by a commercial elevator located in the 3rd Room of Ms. Mollys, Cedar County Attic’s sister store which houses the Attic Belle's Gift Shop and "Al's Meet and Eat" display.
